In addition to being the owner and founder of Quantum Development Coaching, Karen Staib Duffy has been awarded the designation of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coach Federation. Karen has trained as an Ontological Coach, certified through Newfield Network's Coaching for Professional and Personal Mastery (CPPM). Karen has held a variety of roles with Korn/Ferry International's Coaching and Executive Development, including three years as Regional Managing Director for Illinois. Karen has an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
Karen has been a regular featured speaker on emotional intelligence and
the competitive advantages of executive coaching. She has appeared at the University of Chicago's GSB Club Career Management Forum, discussing “The Competitive Advantages of Corporate and Executive Coaching,” “What's an EQ and What Can I Do About It?” and “The Power of Language in Leadership.” She has also spoken on career transition issues for the Chicago Finance Exchange.
Karen has written articles for her own column, “Reflections from a Coaching Perspective” in
The Phoenix, a publication of The University of Chicago's GSB Club, as well as for
THE EXPONENT, published by the University of Chicago Women's Business Group.
